An uncomfortable truth
🪜 Before you can scale you need to fix this

Hey there!
There’s a pattern I’ve seen enough of that I’m just going to say it out loud:
You can’t scale a business that’s broken at its core.
Sounds obvious, right?
What if I told you that 75% of the B2B consultants and agencies I’ve worked with — who came for help with scaling — had a vague, messy core that needed to be tuned up first?
Today, I’m pulling back the curtain on what that looked like for these clients, and how we resolved it.
I hope it sparks some aha moments and actionable ideas for you.

Since launching the Profit Accelerator, I’ve had the opportunity to work with dozens of clients who want to boost revenue, shorten sales cycles, and attract better-fit buyers.
They come in all revved up to scale!
They’ve seen some of my content, been to my masterclass, or a friend told them about this work I do with wedge offers: smaller, strategic entry-point offers that open doors and drive demand.
But when we go to build theirs, we realize something uncomfortable. We don’t have a clear, compelling core to wedge into.
Their signature offer — the very thing they want to sell more of — is vague, forgettable, or impossible to articulate without a 20-minute backstory.
And when that’s the case, no wedge offer — no matter how clever — is going to work.
Here’s 5 symptoms of a messy core that I see over and over (even for some businesses who have been at it for 5 to 10 years):
