Work. Rest. Repeat. Relapse.

🪜 Vacation’s over, I’m not

Hey there,

On Tuesday, I returned from a two-week vacation and wrote this post:

It really struck a chord. Rightfully so, I suppose…

There’s something unsettling about feeling allergic to work when you own the company.

That post came from a very raw, very personal side of me. I meant every word of it.

But here’s the part that surprised me, even if I saw it coming…

By the very next morning, I was cartwheeling back into 15-hour workdays (in a good way).

Business as usual: Wednesday through Saturday I was buried, neck-deep, in my work.

Serving clients. But mostly preparing for the relaunch of my Offers Masterclass.

Office door closed. Locked in. Dopamine factory firing on all cylinders.

The only time I wasn’t working was:

  • In the gym (listening to business podcasts, naturally)

  • At the dinner table

  • Or ā€œsleepingā€ (while waking up at 2 AM to write ideas down on my nearby notepad)

I know, I know…

The wellness crowd is reading this while sharpening their knives… something-something about balance, and how humans aren’t meant to live at the extremes. But, I do.

One day I’m at the beach with my family, not a single part of me wanting to ever return to work. Period.

36 hours later I’m on my third weird, organic mushroom coffee of the morning… writing launch campaigns and mapping out automation sequences.

All with a big, shit-eating grin on my face, like I had discovered fire.

Maybe I’m bad at compartmentalizing. Or maybe I’ve just found a way to operate that works for me.

Maybe I don’t need strict weekends off, or a color-coded calendar to protect my peace.

Maybe my balance is a week of sun and family, followed by recurring 15-hour sprints doing work I love.

Maybe pulling weeds from my landscaping beds and planting a new Weeping Cheery resets me more than some anti-hustler’s ā€œNo Email After 5 PMā€ policy.

Point is, don’t let someone else’s definition of life or work define yours. Ever.

And if you’re fun-loving, hard-working entrepreneur like me, who’s building your dream business so that you can not work more often…

Then I want to see you in my Offers Masterclass.

I’m relaunching it now, and the waitlist (with bonuses) is open… and filling up quickly.

It’s not a shitty, sales-y webinar. And it’s not a sit-back-and-coast course.

It’s a strategic punch in the mouth (with a warm hug and high-five after).

It’s designed for consultancies and agencies who do great work but can’t manage to get new clients to buy. Been there.

It’s for owners who want need to stop chasing new leads and being ghosted, and instead design offers that do the heavy lifting for you.

If that sounds like you:

And speaking of going from one extreme to the other, here’s some photos from my ā€œI never want to work againā€ vacation. ā˜€ļø šŸļø 🚤 ā¤ļø
