đŸȘœ Niche advice I gave my friend

Hey there,

My friend Becca was in what I’d call the “Niche Doom Loop.” You’ve been there yourself. Maybe you’re currently spinning through it.

She was tangled up in the mental gymnastics of defining a niche to focus her business, offers, and content around.

  • Too broad, and her messaging gets mushy

  • Too narrow, and she feared irrelevance

  • In between, and she’s stuck in re-positioning purgatory

As Becca describes them, her ICPs (ideal client personas) are adults with spicy brains.

They’re people who say things like:
“I want to stop procrastinating”
“I want to stop getting distracted”
“I want to know how to manage my ADHD / anxiety / autism / executive dysfunction”

Very real, very debilitating problems. No doubt. But also, not exactly niche. That describes millions of people.

And so when she tries to speak to all of them at once, she ends up saying
 nothing.

Her worked served people with brains who want to get things done more effectively, but struggle.

Which is not a niche. That’s a human.

So we started digging.
